Jackie was a great host! Once we made our way up to the cottage, having read the very clear instructions, it was easy to get in. The house was really clean, plenty of space for everybody with all the amenities we needed, plus a few more things to make it a really special stay. The kitchen was well equipped which made it simple to cook for our large group. The spacious sitting room and kitchen made for a really great environment to spend time together after a great day out in the Peak District. The Fish Pond pub was also an easy walk away for a beer or two.

Such a fantastic cottage for a girls group away, the place was kitted out with absolutely everything you might need and Jackie sent detailed instructions for the house. The garden overlooking Matlock Bath was a real highlight. 

Great place to stay for a hen party of 14 girls, included everything we needed and the house and area are both beautiful. Comfy beds and well laid out rooms with 2 showers and 3 toilets. Lots of fridge space and a good kitchen.

Had the most brilliant time and really excellent views. Thank you for having us in your home. 🙂

Jackie was a fantastic and welcoming host! Her place is beautiful and well placed for a large group. She was so considerate and even posted a wallet we left behind the next day!

A group of 13 of us stayed here for my sister’s hen weekend. It was ideal for a relaxed weekend away.
The cottage was well equipped with amenities, and the village had great restaurants, pubs and cafes just a short walk away!
We could not have had a better time! It was particularly lovely to just be surrounded by nature with a beautiful view. We spent most of our time sitting at the picnic benches in the front garden.

We have had a wonderful stay. Lots of memories made in a beautiful cottage.

We thoroughly enjoyedour stay at the cottage. It was well equipped and very comfortable. Views are amazing! Plenty to do in Matlock Bath. Great Weekend.
