Crowpie cottage was a wonderful stay. The property is in a beautiful setting and is a short walk from the village of Matlock Bath. Jackie was incredibly helpful and communicative throughout the booking process and provided us with lots of information and plenty of ammenities. Welcoming gifts were even provided to us which was very sweet. I highly recommend this property, 10/10. Fantastic stay for large groups.

We had the pleasure of staying at Crow Pie Cottage over New Year (2024), we’re a group of 4 families so really needed somewhere that felt warm and welcoming and worked for both kids and adults and we found exactly that here. Jackie’s instructions and tips before we arrived were really invaluable and ensured we had a comfortable and happy stay that worked for all of us. It’s clear there’s a lot of love here at the cottage, and it was lovely that the Christmas decorations were still up, as the kids loved seeing the tree and all the twinkly lights. As we had such a nice time at the cottage we didn’t venture out too widely, but we did walk over to Cromford to the Boat Inn for a New Year’s day lunch, which I can recommend! Would advise to book in advance, which I am glad we did as it was very popular when we were there! There was also a really great secondhand bookshop on the same street.

Thanks so much for having us again Jackie, we honestly loved it, far exceeded expectations and meant we had such a nice New Year’s celebration together!
